If you are Platinum and above, you get a several freebies. And you sign up for them at the Cruise Next desk.  And they check your status, so if not Platinum...sorry.

 

The Behind the Scenes Tour.  This is a shorter version of the paid tour, and you stay on the lower decks, no bridge tour.  It is usually held early on the morning after embarkation.

 

Wine Tasting.  A lesser version of the paid wine tastings.  Very low key, and after having done 3 now, very small attendance.  They use an Around The World concept. 2 wines from Italy, 2 from France, 2 from US, and 2 from S America (Argentina and Chile).  A few cracker sticks and some water for cleansing the pallet.  You get to talk to the sommeliers, a couple have had some good stories.  And of course you mainly discuss wine.  It is usually held in the afternoon on a sea day.  We have had it at Syd's, and the bar outside Cagney's.
