Tigers2 Posted March 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2006 We will be at the Caymans in a few weeks! Does anyone know if you can visit both the Butterfly and Turtle Farms on the same cruise? 1. Can we do both? 2. How much is the cost of the Butterfly and Turtle Farms?? 3. How much are taxi rides or rental cars? 4. Is it better to take the tour through RCCL! 5. Any additional comments!! Thanks!
ewheelock Posted March 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I don't know for a fact but I would think that you could do both. I went to the turtle farm in Dec. and the whole thing only took about 45 minutes or less.
TrqoisWtrs Posted March 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Here's turtle farm info. Not sure where the butterfly farm is so can't help you there. You might want to grab a cab driver near the port area and work out a price.
drew sailbum Posted March 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2006 The butterfly farm is just off West Bay Rd ( the main road along Seven Mile Beach), across the side street from the cinema. The intersection with West Bay Road is immediately past the Pizza Hut on your right as you are heading away from teh port. You can hop a regular island bus (station in Georgetown is next to the old library) with the letters WB in a circle. Any of the West Bay routes can drop you along West Bay Rd at the intersection you want. The Butterfly Farm is one-half block off West Bay Rd. Once you have visitied the Butterfly Farm, walk back to the West Bay Rd intersection and hail a northbound bus (the direction you were previously heading) to visit the Turtle Farm.
