Vineyard wine packages

I am trying to decide whether or not to purchase the Vineyard wine package for my cruise in February. Looking for info on the wines available in the basic package and if those who have used this think it was worth it. I am not very picky with wines. I usually drink Franzia, Corbet Canyon or Apothic type of wines. Thanks for any advice offered.

If you are used to the wines you mentioned, the basic plan would be fine . The mark up is still a lot but if you drink wine you will save money buying the package

We didn't get the package. We didn't want to feel obligated to order a bottle of wine each night. But we ended up ordering a few bottles that would have been on the premium list. We spent about $15 more; depends on what you order.

 

I think it's worth it to order off the ship instead carrying it on and paying the $15 corkage fee for inexpensive bottles.

 

The ship might have a different list.

We used the package mostly to get a bottle and bring to our room. Then we could drink it there or bring a couple glasses with us to dinner
