IAH Airport in Houston to Galveston Port

Thanks everyone for the info. Since we have 4 in our party -- we'll probably rent from Hertz (I get a Ford Motor Company discount) in IAH or HOU and drive to Galveston. Even if it's a few dollars more, at least I get the freedom of driving around. We'll plan to pickup a vehicle at the Galveston terminal when the cruise ends.

Our flight home is out of IAH at 12:21pm. I am well aware that is cutting it very close.

Anyone with advice?

Finally convinced hubby to change our flight, so we now have one at 4:15. The plan is to rent a car and maybe stop at NASA on the way to IAH. Thanks for all the help, everyone.
