crazidude1400 Posted March 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2006 I have booked an inside cabin on the Liberty. The OV guar is a little bit cheaper than a 4F assigned cabin. Is the guarantee worth the upgrade? Is the stateroom any bigger? What are my chance of being upgraded to a balcony? If I am placed under the showroom on the main deck, can I hear noise/vibration? Thanks

Thanks I say an OV is 10 times better than a IS! TAKE IT! Do the guarantee. I've heard the faster you book the guarantees, the more likely you are to be upgraded. I dont think you'll get all the way up to a balcony but I've seen many get upgraded to 6D or 6E. AGAIN, TAKE THE OV GUAR! WORTH IT!

Thanks Come on CRAZI.. spend the extra couple of hundred and get the cabin you WANT (OV, Balcony, etc...), WHERE you WANT. Leave your GAMBLING for the casino ;) - if you are lucky, you can make up the difference, ON THEM!!! Make no mistake about it - there ARE cabins that you DO NOT want to randomly end up in (you have seen the threads!) It's YOUR vacation, take charge! MikeNKim Posted March 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2006 I have had both a inside and outside and much prefer the outside... Just nice to check to see if you are in port, what the weather is like and not feel like you are in a dungeon. I don't believe there is a difference in cabin sizes but I could be wrong, I am sure someone will know for sure. I also have learned from these boards to pick your cabin number, you don't want to end up in a room you will not enjoy. Have a great cruise. cblue204 Posted March 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2006 I always go to my ta and see where the cheapest room is and the best deal.....Then i ask myself how many stairs am i wanting to walk up and the price isn't that much more to be in the middle of the ship...and of course up a little higher isn't that much more.... next i say i don't need an outside cabin because i really don't look out it that much, but for the window it isn't really that much higher so ok i get that two.. after starting out with an inside cabin randommalyy selected on the bottom of the ship I end up with a guaranteed outside room fairly high up.... it's not that much more just take baby steps up intil you get the room you really want
