Any suggestions for hotels in Tampa? We will be staying overnight before our cruise on August 30. Are there any hotels that offer shuttle service to the dock and free parking while cruising?

Check Hilton Westshore. Reasonable prices & website shows a park & cruise special. Please be sure to post after your cruise if you choose this hotel as several of Miracle Partae Pirates are staying at this hotel in Feb.

Call hotel & ask. They have a park & fly deal but I read on the boards somewhere that they have a park & cruise special. I think some of our group is planning on using it because they are driving in from FL but you have to ask for it.

There's a Marriott about 3 blocks from the cruise terminal in Tampa. I stayed there for a conference. Not sure about rates or parking specials, just know how close it is. Got up one morning to see the funnel of a Carnival ship outside my balcony!!

My daughter is staying the same night..aug 30th...we booked on priceline...bid $38 for a 3 star and got the hilton westshore...great hotel, she's stayed there before and you can't beat priceline...if you bid...bid tampa downtown 3 star and you get the hilton..

My daughter is staying the same night...we bid on priceline...bid $38 for a 3 star hotel in downtown tampa and got the hilton westshore..great hotel..we've used it before..you can't beat priceline..and it's right across from a mall with great restaurants and you can see the ships in port...

There is the Mariott which is walking distance from the terminal... there is also the Harbour Island hotel which is about a mile away. I'm not sure who owns this hotel or the rates but you could probably google it and get some info on it.

 

There are a few downtown (Riverside, Embassy Suites, and another by the Library that I drive by everyday but for the life of me I can't remember the name) which I'd bet would have some sort of shuttle service.
