Natanni Posted February 27, 2009 #26 Share Posted February 27, 2009 Im surprised his coworkers never told him about it. My brother use to work for FedEx. He doesnt cruise, but he knew about it. My husband works in a relatively small UPS center, in a very rural area. I believe there are under 20 drivers, and only one other driver that has cruised before that I know of. Cruising isn't one of their big topics at work

ruskatab Posted February 27, 2009 #28 Share Posted February 27, 2009 The interline discount is about 20% for us when you can get it. The problem is that they only offer so many cabins eligible for the discount per cruise. The interline rates are getting harder to get and now they are not giving the dsicount to certain categories. We used to get the interline rate for a 9A and they wont discount it anymore. I see the cruiselines completely doing away with interline rates in the near future. That will never happen....Cruiseline employees love the discounts that they receive from other travel industries. I checked on an interline rate web page for cruises from August out of this year and 9A's were still being discounted. Maybe you were trying to close to departure date and they were just not available...
