Amaroo Andrew Posted February 13 #1 Share Posted February 13 My brother has recently returned from a Pacific Adventure cruise to the Sth Pacific Islands. He was checking his statement for charges and noticed a debit for 'condiments`. The only thing he thought it could be was a charge for having sugar with his 'paid for' (not ship swill) coffee. Surely they're not gouging the pax for sugar in the coffee? I think it was 30 cents per sachet.
Rare ceeceeDee Posted February 13 #2 Share Posted February 13 Golly, if that's the case it's pretty rough when you have actually paid for a barista coffee!!! We were on Encounter last June and certainly didn't pay extra for sugar. I always check our statements (daily usually) whilst on board and honestly I'd have queried it with Guest Services even if it was only 30 cents (not that I'm tight, just I don't appreciate being ripped off). He should contact P&O By phone (this is the only way I could speak to a P&O rep in Australia) And ask what the charges were for so then we all know.
