Anyone Taken the Snorkeling Trip in La Paz?

It seems like one of the only fun things Carnival Spirit offers there. Does anyone have any comments? Especially for kids??

My DH and I go to La Paz to scuba dive. It is a great place to snorkel and dive. My suggestion would be to contact Andrea Tomba at www.deseabaja.com or Luis @ www.cortezclub.com. They are both outstanding operations and will accomodate you nicely.

La Paz has wonderful sites to dive and snorkel. There is a dive and snorkel site where you will be able to snorkel with sea lions. The young sea lions are very friendly and frequently will appear to be playing with you.

We have found that doing these kinds of excursions with the cruise ships is not much fun, as there are way too many people. You do not have to worry about missing your ship because they will make sure that the trip gets you back in sufficient time as long as they are aware that you are a cruise passenger.
