cruzcupl Posted June 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2004 We booked directly with Carnival. How/where can you check out price of cruise ? Can't seem to find it on their web site. Any one?
atonal1 Posted June 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2004 Price your cruise using Travelocity or Expedia. They charge the exact same price that you get with Carnival directly. If the price is less there, then there was a price reduction. cruzn buckeye Posted June 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2004 go to the website. Click on FunShips, click on the one you want, click on the sailing ( eastern , western, etc.) The dates of the sailings will appear, then click select. If this doesn't work for you, call their reservations dept. Many specials are not posted online, such as resident and some past guest specials. For instance, our 9/11 sailing on Glory, for an 8b shows $922pp plus taxes. I called...there was a past guest special that was not showing in the past guest specials on their website. Our price was $822pp including taxes and port charges. That's $200 more to spend on the ship! The special actually is 8a to 8e for the same price...$822. cjar855 Posted June 13, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2004 Keep checking with your carnival vacation planner up til the week of sailing. I call mine about every 2-3 weeks. if there has been a reduction she applies it to my cruise. I booked in March for a 9/12 sailing and I so far I got $160.00 credit.(per Stateroom.)If there is a lower price or a better cabin for the money she applies it.Carnival is very good to work with.. 9/12 Pride Destiny 9/12/99 Destiny 2/04/01 Triumph 12/08/01 Destiny 11/03/02 Pride 01/18/04 Pride 09/12/
garycarla Posted June 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2004 you can check price right on carnival web site. You will have to sign up, no big deal. I actually got a separate email JUST for cruise related stuff. Then you go through the steps to book -but not pay for - a cruise.
