mnpurple Posted March 21 Author #51 Share Posted March 21 @alserrod The Carousel lounge is more "night club" style with drink service. I don't think drinks are supposed to be brought into the Delphi Theater, but I did see a few people with them. We went to two shows and people coming in late (or leaving early) wasn't too much of an issue.
mnpurple Posted March 22 Author #52 Share Posted March 22 We disembarked today. It feels strange to report on much more after finding out about the young man who apparently jumped. There was not even the slightest hint that something had happened around the ship. This is just one more reason my husband are trying to live our lives to the fullest now and travel because you just never know what is going to happen. We are now beginning the rest of our European adventure. We tried the Eurostar from London to Lille, France (the train under the English channel). If anyone has questions about our cruise, feel free to ask.

Where does ship dock as we have a 11 am walking tour from City Hall. Are we within a reasonable walking distance to there, near public transport Too far to walk. Public transport is available 10 to 15 minutes walk from the ship but only Monday to Saturday. Sunday it would be a 40 to 45 minutes walk through the old Elbe tunnel to the next useful public transport. The MSC shuttle brings you pretty close to the city hall, on a Sunday it is the best option. Best thing in Hamburg is miniature wonderland as mentioned in this thread. 1
