Is it allowed to use a full face snorkel mask on a Galapagos cruise, Celebrity Flora?

These masks are prohibited on Silversea (Silver Origin in Galapagos)

On our Xpedition sailing in November, full face snorkel masks were “not recommended”. Here is the orientation slide:

We are PADI certified advanced divers & also snorkel. I would never use a full face mask. Go to a good dive shop & buy your own face mask & snorkel & bring with you. They will fit a lot better. For the ladies, I use a special strap so my hair doesn't get caught up. We also have flippers that use dive booties that work great. We will bring all equipment to the Xploration next June. Bring your own gear that doesn't leak!

These masks are not good.  There is a reason that the dive/snorkel shops don't rent them out in Hawaii.  Spend $ money to get a good fitting mask for your face shape.  When you put on the mask, make sure there is NO hair under any part of the mask.   Have fun.  We saw much in the Galapagos.

The main reason is the trouble in communications while using a guide for a group
