cruzn_soon Posted June 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2004 I have contacted my PVP for the 3rd time regarding the fact that my daughter is listed as a "Mstr" on our documentation (not finals). He has called and left a voicemail that the designation simply means "child".. I'm sorry but I have never heard a female child referred to as a "Mstr". Can someone that has some docs for their children please look at them and tell me if all genders for children are designated as "Mstr"? I would expect that the girls are listed as "Miss".. Thank you for your time with this. Trying to be proactive and take care of any inconsistencies now, not at the port. Desiree Days Until Our 1st Cruise -- Paradise !! *christina* Posted June 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2004 You are correct. Your daughter should be "miss". We just got home from our cruise and all documents listed DD as "miss" and DSs and "mstr". pssky Posted June 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2004 I just got back from the Glory on Saturday. My 4 month old granddaughter was listed as "Master". I called Carnival before we sailed and they told me that it was a(nother) "glitch" in the system that was doing this and that there would be no problem upon check-in and there wasn't. Cotton Posted June 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2004 Of course, Miss and Mstr (Master) are correct for children; however, as I said in the other post, it really isn't a big deal. Quit worrying about it. "Laissez les bon temps rouler!" Sea Turtle Posted June 14, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2004 cruzn_soon-- This is a minor discrepancy and has no bearing on the embarkation process. Forget about it, and spend your next 41 days looking forward to your first cruise!! <img src=http://members.hometown.aol.com/bay2baygal/myhomepage/seaturtle.gif?mtbrand=AOL_US>
morriscats Posted June 14, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2004 My 14 year old granddaughter is listed as Mrs but her 11 year old sister is Miss. Carnival said all 14 + are Mrs???? Oh well. Hope she doesn't get any ideas - doesn't even have a boyfriend yet. 8/29/04 Carnival Pride 10/13/04 Celebrity Mercury Carnivale 1980 Nordic Prince 1993 Disney Wonder 1999 Celebrity Mercury 10/26/03 Carnival Pride 8/29/04 Celebrity Mercury 10/13/
cruzn_soon Posted June 14, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted June 14, 2004 Definately not worrying, so to speak.. Just curious if others had encountered a problem with this type of thing. Too much going on around here to give this too much time.. Thanks for letting me know it's no biggie.. Desiree Days Until Our 1st Cruise -- Paradise !!
