Misself Posted April 24 #1 Share Posted April 24 (edited) Hello. I haven't done a P&O cruise for ages, but have booked Britannia for June and the classic drinks package. Most cruise lines have been on before, in the MDR, once they've served you a wine (and know you are on a package), they tend to just come round a top you up freely. With the 15 drink limit, are they a bit more 'strict' on P&O. I'm deciding whether to upgrade to deluxe as clearly getting 250mls rather than 175ml means less ordering needed 😉 Edited April 24 by Misself
waddle Posted April 24 #2 Share Posted April 24 In our experience it’s just a case of asking your waiter(s) for another glass rather than a top up. Never been an issue with the 15 minute rule in the MDR’s - you’ll probably find it takes that long for the next glass to arrive! We usually take a glass in with us from one of the bars to get started All the menus will also have the wines listed per package - Classic or Deluxe if you want to chose something different when the food arrives
Clodia Posted April 24 #3 Share Posted April 24 I had the deluxe package on Iona recently and just ordered a 250 ml glass. If I ran out I asked for another; no problem and usually took 10 minutes or so to arrive.
