flashdog_1 Posted March 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2006 My first cruise was completed a week ago today and I tried on line today to get the number. How long should I expect to wait? Has anyone had any luck getting a discount on any other of the sister lines by being a Mariner? Thanks

ESLO Posted March 26, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2006 My first cruise was completed a week ago today and I tried on line today to get the number. How long should I expect to wait? Has anyone had any luck getting a discount on any other of the sister lines by being a Mariner? Thanks Dear Flashdog 1, You can also go to the Holland America Line website > Mariner's Tab and there is a location to obtain you Mariner's Number. You will see it online and also can have it emailed to your address also. Each line has it's own Mariner type of classification ex. Cunard - World Cruise Club. We have extensive cruises with Cunard on the QE2. Unfortuately, your points with each line are non-transferable. Sorry. Regards, :( ESLO (Ed & Bev)
grannynurse Posted March 26, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2006 It usually takes several weeks to get Mariner numbers into the system. The #'s are retrievable online once they're loaded. You can get discounts on any of the 7 Carnival Corp. lines. Check for information in the back of any HAL or related lines brochures. It's under the heading of "World's Leading Cruise Lines". HAL's Mariner privileges don't cross over but sailing on one of these lines makes you eligible for past passenger (alumni) discounts on all.
