This may or may not be a strange question. Are the evenings at sea cool? Will we need a light jacket or sweater?

Sometimes--it depends on the wind. I would say mid to high 60's in general.

The showrooms and dining rooms tend to be quite chilly on every ship I have ever been on. Most of my evening outfits have a jacket otherwise I always bring a sweater.

 

So even if you don't go outside at night you might need it inside
