espmass Posted March 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2006 There are usually two (depending on the ship) dining rooms designated as Anytime Dining. Basically you can go when you want. However, there may or may not be a wait and you will be seated where they are filling a table unless you specify a table alone. You will have different table companions and a different waiter each night. I tried Anytime dining on the star last year and if there was a wait to be seated they gave you a pager so you could go to a lounge or whatever to wait. There were never long waits though. The ships will allow you to make reservations for a particular table at a particular time but usually only before 6:30 and after 8 and usually on the same day. There are good points and bad points to both Anytime and Traditional dining.

espmass Posted March 26, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2006 You can go to any of the dining rooms other than the one(s) designated for traditional dining. You can use the buffet anytime.
