Excursion - Jungle Buggy & Mayan Cave Exploration

We went on that excursion on March 14. My party of 4 was very disappointed. There were some on our bus, however, who enjoyed it. The description reads as if you will be going through the rainforest and see lots of wildlife. We were told when we boarded the "jungle buggies" that we probably wouldn't see any wildlife so that started things off poorly. We opted not to go through the cave, my DM is claustrophobic. The ride itself is okay, but don't expect to see much. The lunch was very good, but its not worth the drive out there in my opinion. It was a little over an hour on mostly bumpy roads. The last 30 minutes are on a dirt road with huge ruts. It was like riding over a washboard. My DH and other DD went cave tubing and had a blast. I wish we had chosen one of the river tours instead. I was told the city tour was not good either. Good luck!
