Premium Suites on Diamond/Sapphire

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would check again. Anyone have any feedback regarding the suites (with the great balconies) in the front (bow ??) of the Princess ships? I would love to book one for Alaska, however I am wondering if the wind would keep us in the room.

Thanks for the help

Hi Clair: We were upgraded to a suite B104 on the Sapphire. Now we did a r/t from S.F. to Mex. Riviera and the only time that we could use the balcony was in port. We had that wrap-around one. The rest of the time it was so windy you could not go out there while at sea. There is a door that separates the balcony on the port side with the wrap-around and your steward locks that door while at sea. Now in Alaska in the Inside Passage you are going slower so maybe it would not be windy. Ours was out on open ocean to get to Mex. Riv. and back.
