HALOS - Start Packing

Just wanted to get your attention. I wanted to tell you that I thought the Miracle was a lovely ship. We had a balcony, first time and loved it. The cabin was the prettiest out of all 7 (6 ?) of my cruises. Let me know if you want any other info. We were scheduled for Nick and Nora's but cancelled because we liked dinner in the dining room so much and we were afraid we'd miss something!

See ya.

Sounds like you could cancel Nick and Nora's without a problem or a penalty, is that true?

Barb!!
Thanks!!
I can't wait.
I won't pack until Friday. After I drop the dog at the sitter and get the nails done, I will devote the entire rest of the day/night to packing. This is always how I do it. I feel less frazzled if I concentrate on just that and nothing else. Right now there is just too much going on and if I pack now, I'll surely forget something!!

I'll get back with a long winded review as soon as I can. We'll be spending a post night in NY so it will be sometime the following week!!

I am really excited. I feel like a little kids before Christmas!!

WMeda,
No, they were very nice at Nick and Nora's when we cancelled. We did give them a day in advance though. It was a neat place. I was torn! If the cruise was a 10 day we definitely would have been there.

Another thing about the Miracle. I thought it was the smoothest sailing ever. This ship seemed to run QUIET.

Halos,
I don't usually pack until the last minute either. We left Sunday, May 23 at 9:30 to go to Baltimore and I started packing at 7am. The only thing I forgot was a toothbrush but they had them on the ship and now I have a souvenir that no one will touch!

Happy sailing.

Barb...that is awesome to hear! The family we are sailing with has never cruised before and I was so concerned about their comfort....I'd hate to have talked them into this cruise only for them to be sea sick the whole time (God forbid!). Knowing that it is a smooth sailing ship eases my mind a TON!
Thanks!!!!

Wayne,
You'll have a wonderful time. That was my second cruise in May from our area to the Bahamas/Carribean. I enjoy the sail down as much as the ports.

It'll be here before you know it. I wish I was going!
