Coxen Hole new pool pictures

We just visited Coxen Hole and took some pictures of the new pool. The pool isn't very big and they ask that you buy a drink from the bar. The shallow part with the hammocks  winds back to the new restaurant. We walked around the port area then walked out to the street. There is an area inside the port where the independent tours are sold and there were plenty of booths set up. Once out on the street we were greeted by a young man wanting to escort us around. We told him we preferred to be on our own and he left. Looking back I wish we would have taken him up on it. I know he would have told us about the area and shown us around for a tip. We have been out side the port many times over the years and boy has it changed. Most shops were boarded up, the sidewalk was in very bad shape and there was trash all over. There were only a couple of small stores selling local ware. There was a produce outdoor market across the street. We did not walk far as my husband is not real steady on his feet and the sidewalk was a problem. I was happy to see the old mahogany wood store that was across the street from the port area now inside the port. They have so many beautiful mahogany pieces, several we have bought over the years.
