Musiclover21 Posted June 12 #1 Share Posted June 12 I am looking for advice for excursions in Geiranger. We are considering renting a car from Geiranger Fjord Service to drive up Mt Dalsnibba. Has anyone done this? We think we are too big for the e-car. We are both tall. So, that leaves us with the Porshe. Do we need any transportation from the port or can we walk? Any other tips? Do you think we can fit in both the drive (3 hours) and a RIB boat tour (1.5 hour) in the afternoon? We also considered the bus excusion in case we don't drive ourselves. Appreciate your help! Kreuzfahrtblog.eu Posted June 12 #2 Share Posted June 12 Hello, we once did the tour wih the El-Bil Tur e-car. For the front passenger it was convenient with 186 cm size. In the back with 175 cm it was less comfortable but possible. The way from the port to the e-cars was easy to walk at that time. I don´t know where they have the sports cars for rent, so better check with the company offering it. And remember you might need a ticket for the upper part of the mountain if you are there with a rented car. Drive and RIB boat are quite amazing, so if your schedule makes it possible - have fun.
