Buy shore excursion with onboard credit?

We have an onboard credit for our cabin. We have others travelling with us in separate cabins. Does anyone know if I can buy someone in another cabin a shore excursion using our onboard credit to pay for it? I am trying to buy one for someone in my cabin and one for someone in another cabin. The way I tried doing it only let me use the onboard credit to pay for one excursion. The credit would be enough to cover both. Thanks in advance!

I have done that with OBC for 3 separate cabins but not until we were on the ship.

You can probably do so on board at the Shore Excursions desk. But there is no way to pre-purchase excursions online before your cruise for people not booked in your cabin.

I do it all the time, sign in to Carnival go to your booking Booking Order and Detail, you will see on the right side of the page (below picture of ship) Manage Another Booking all you have to do is enter their last name and Booking number and it will add them to your cruise and then you can purchase the excursions etc for them

I already have all 3 cabins linked so they all appear together. I can buy a shore excursion for another cabin, just not with my onboard credit.

If you have enough OBC and have their booking number yes you can by adding them to your link or calling guest services or wait until on the ship but there might not be an opening

I have the booking number, and all 3 have been linked since we booked. I have enough OBC. No matter which way I try it, it does not let me use my OBC for a different cabin.

Sorry you're having trouble, I just added my son to our booked excursion for next April after speaking with him and I paid for it with my OBC. It's always easier when you can walk someone through it by talking then trying to explain here but it is really simple. Give Carnival guest services a call they can add for you

I figured it out. The OBC is part of my husband’s casino offer and is non-transferable. Good to know though that I would be able to do it if it was just a regular OBC. Thanks for your help.

So it's Fun play not OBC because even if it was your husbands you would be able to do it.
