CruiseDuck Posted June 23 #1 Share Posted June 23 We will be stopping in Sept in Bimini. We would like to rent a golf cart but have read about so many bad issues. Has anyone rented one before going? Who would you recommend? Do you take the tram to pick it up? Sounds like so many scams so just want to be prepared and also where we pick one up and what to expect. Thank you! Axel44 Posted July 1 #3 Share Posted July 1 Bimini is our favorite port in the Bahamas. It is a lot like the old Bahamas used to be but with some modern touches. As for the golf carts, Once you get to the end of the pier, turn left towards the Resorts World hotel and walk through the roundabout. Remember, they drive on the left side. Keep that in mind when driving the golf cart. There will be people with golf carts in the roundabout, but keep walking another 100 yds and there will be 20+ vendors with golf carts on the right. Prices are negotiable. Taking a tour of the island is a lot of fun on the golf carts but it is a pretty small island. If you were to venture towards Alice Town, don't miss Stuarts Conch Stand. Its been there a looong time and is great. They have a house drink, have one, not two, or you'll be crawling back to the ship. Have Fun!!!
