Carnival Sunshine Promenade cabin noise/smoke concern?

Trying to decide on a room and just wondering if anyone has stayed in an oceanview room on the promenade deck? The rooms are in the back of the ship, near the alchemy bar, redfrog pub and ocean plaza dance floor. It's also on the same deck as the casino. My concerns are noise and smoke smell. Does anyone have experience with staying in a room in that area? Do you know how loud it would be or if smoke smell would be too strong? Any idea how late the alchemy bar and redfrog pub are open at night?

Years ago, we booked one of the aft corner suites on deck 5 of the Sunshine. It was very nice and super quiet.One of the quietest cabins I have ever booked on any ship as a matter of fact. I remember no smell of smoke at all. The casino is further away than it looks on the deck p!ans.  It was nice to be so convenient to the coffee shop and at the time they served a small breakfast buffet in the ocean plaza area. Would book back there again.

@Sea Raven That's wonderful to know! We ended up picking a room in that same area, right near the suites. It looks super convenient. I am mostly concerned about the noise from the bars nearby. But I am hopeful that we will be far enough away not to be bothered by it!

We have stayed on Deck5 twice and loved it. And since we love the ocean plaza area it is a great location, low noise and no noticeable smoke smells at all.

We even had the cabin that was right behind the Alchemy Bar and do not recall hearing anything.

As far as hours, think it states 'late' as a close time. In bed normally by midnight so have not tested that.

But wished they still did the breakfast in ocean plaza... was so relaxing vs lido.
