marcyjane Posted June 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2004 Hi Guys, At work on break so going to try and hurry. On the Carnival Fun Pass, can you do that before you get your docs or do you have to wait until you docs come in? Also I bookeed direct with Carnival and on the other passengers do I use there home address or my address since I booked and everything is under my address. I would think that Carnival needs each persons address "right" in order to see that the passport and all match, Right?? Also one of the people going with us is in the process of moving, but just yesterday received her passport with of course her address that she is moving from. What advise would you give us on her leaving everything with the old address or does she need to now go again and get everything change to new address on her just received passport and as well have her drivers license changed? She didn't of course no she would be moving until a couple of weeks ago. The cruise is three months out yet, but didn't know if she should go through the time and clost of getting everthing changed or just leave it alone with the old address. Kittymama Posted June 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I don't think you need your docs. As I recall, all you need is your booking number. I was really surprised at how easy it was to do it online, & they didn't ask nearly the number of questions I thought they would. And it definitely speeds up check-in. Kittymama Posted June 17, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I don't know how your friend's moving will affect things. I believe Funpass is largely for security--all the cruiselines have to check passenger names (just like airlines do) for possible terrorists. She probably should make sure Carnival has her correct address while cruising though, just in case there's some sort of emergency. tjohn159d Posted June 17, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 17, 2004 I think all you need for the fun pass is a booking number. As for the address changes, there is no address in the passport. Just a place of birth. Now if they seem to think that changed they have more problem than getting ready for a cruise. Hope it helps a little. charvella Posted June 17, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 17, 2004 The Fun Pass is much easier to use now. They have really perfected it. All you need is your booking number, ship name and sailing date to enter. The most difficult part is the air information.....a little confusing. You can fill out your Fun Pass as soon as you know your booking number. When you receive your documents the Fun Pass coupon will say "complete". When you get to the port they will ask you if you have filled out your Fun Pass info and if so, send you to the quicker Fun Pass line.
