GoinCruisin Posted March 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2006 It's a zipline (cables, rope bridges, etc) tour. The canopy is the "trees" and jungle.

JerseyGirl97 Posted March 27, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2006 We are doing the Lost World Canopy Tour in Belize through Carnival. The one through Carnival said you have to be 8 years old. So my soon to be 6 year old will be spending the day with Granny and PopPop and I will be ziplining with my brother and sister. This is actually the excursion we are looking forward to the most!!! Now we just need to find something for Granny and PopPop to do with my daughter. I hear that you can't just wander around the port in Belize and there is no beach right there. Maybe the zoo?? gatorclaw Posted March 27, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2006 if you want a visual of it- click on the 'voyage of valor' in my signature and you'll see my video of our zipline excursion in Roatan (it's the 'From Elevation to Flotation" chapter). It's great fun.

It's great fun. Gator, how were you able to tape it? My sister is dying to record it but it says you need to keep your hands free. I would watch it but whenever I try to watch a video I get kicked off the internet... I don't know whether to hate aol or go buy a new laptop! Annie34 Posted March 28, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 28, 2006 DH and I did the canopy tour in Puerto Vallarta and had a blast....they mentioned that 6 years old was the youngest they would accept, at least with that specific company. As far as video, we had a guide with us who took all of the video during the excursion. They made sure to get footage of everyone in our group as well as the scenery, and it was all ready for us about 30 minutes after we finished. Got to take it with us right then. We loved it!!!!
