Houston Pegaroo Posted July 17 #1 Share Posted July 17 We'll be in Nafplio for one day on our cruise. Please share any helpful information about this town re: excursions, walking tours, wine tasting and recommended restaurants for lunch. Thanks! If you have not already searched for and read some, choose from the following (there are not many) https://boards.cruisecritic.com/search/?q=nafplio&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=463 Edited July 18 by edinburgher

Try the usual websites which appear when you search eg "Nafplio Tourist Information" or similar, also Tripadvisor, Frommer's Fodor, YouTube, Rick Steves etc. for restaurant reviews, and simply search for "wine tasting Nafplio" or "wine tasting tours Nafplio" should you want a tour As Nafplio isn't big I don't think you would need a walking tour as such, although you might want to consider a tour out of town. Google could become your new best friend.😀
2blueyam Posted July 18 #4 Share Posted July 18 We had a lovely dinner at To Teloneio on our land tour of Greece last year. They open at 1pm, so might work for your lunch. In town, my favorite thing we did was walking along the coastline around the point to the beach. We were there in late April and the cactus was in bloom along the walk. That will be a significantly longer walk from the cruise port than it was from our hotel. It is nice to just walk around the old town and browse in the shops too. Some friends on the tour with us went to the Archeological Museum and thought it was nice, but certainly not on the scale of the ones in Athens or Heraklion.
