NCL Encore SEA Disembarkation and 950am Flight

Recommended Posts

Last year I made an 8:50am flight out of SEA after getting off the Bliss.  We were in a cab by I think 7:15am, we have TSA Precheck and we were still about 30 minutes early to our gate.  As a previous poster said, experienced travelers do not plan for worst case scenario.  I'm the type of person who gets to the airport 30 minutes early, I don't check bags, and in my last 100 flights I have missed a flight one time.  99 other times i enjoyed extra time in my day.

I guess it's a good thing you don't take I-5 to get to the airport from pier 66.

It's one option.  The last time we caught a cab from Sea-Tac, that's the route the driver took.  It's a bit farther than taking 509, but takes about the same time unless there's a traffic tie-up.

All things being equal 99/509 will always be quicker (although it is relatively close) but it is also the less risky route. I have never taken I-5 from there (or Belltown).

I agree.  Taking 99/509 usually is the better choice.  I simply meant to reply to a previous comment that seemed to say that I-5 is not an option.  It may not be as wise a choice as 99/509, but it is an option.
