PH8 Posted March 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2006 Help...........can't decide between the ships excursion: After a brief orientation you will depart caravan style traveling North for your first stop at Morgan’s Harbor, where you will take in the beauty of the North Sound. You will then proceed onto Barkers National Park, Cayman’s Natural Mangroves where en-route you will see the habitats of the Blue Iguanas. You then arrive at Spanish Bay Reef, were you will be served a refreshing beverage at the bar and where you may enjoy a quick swim or snorkel at their natural reef..alternatively, you could choose to relax by the pool or on the beach. You will then drive through local neighborhoods, driving by the Turtle Farm and enjoying stops at Hell and a Rum Cake Factory before arriving at the Beach Club Colony, where you will have approximately two hours to enjoy a swim or snorkel in the azure waters off Seven Mile Beach. Or an independent one: http://grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com/CaymanIslandJeepTour.htm Has anyone done either of this??????? My problem is I am not too familiar with the island and dont know which area would be better?
beachlovergirl Posted March 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2006 LittleBird - Did they pick you up at the pier or did you have to get your own transportation to their site? What time did tour start? Did you have to pay in full online or do they just get a deposit? Any part of tour on bumpy roads? Thanks!
ninthof10 Posted April 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2006 LittleBird, would you recommend renting a Jeep and driving to Rum Point on your own, without a tour guide? If so, do you have any suggestions on where we should rent a Jeep?
nikita Posted April 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2006 LittleBird - thank you for that review. I was looking for a jeep excursion on Grand Cayman and this sounds fun. Also thinking about renting a jeep if you have any info on that. Thank you!
