NCL "on your own" excursion from Tilbury to "Central London"... anyone?

We'll be on the NCL Dawn which has a stop in Tilbury. We signed up for the ship's "London On Your Own" which will drop us off in "Central London". My question, where in "Central London" would the drop off point be. Called NCL shore excursion desk, they have no idea.

 

We've been to London before and this time we plan on visiting Churchill War Rooms. If the drop off point is by Tower Bridge, we'd probably take the tube from there to the "war rooms". Now I'm thinking of just canceling the ship's excursion and doing the commuter train from Tilbury on our own. But if the NCL bus drops us off, say, closer to Big Ben which would be an easy walk, then we'll stick with the excursion.

 

So again my question - does anyone know where in "CENTRAL LONDON" this NCL tour bus might drop us off?

Probably a better chance of getting the info if you cross post on the NCL Board.

Thanks for your feedback. I was hoping to get input from cruisers on other lines as well. Thinking this might be a common excursion option across all brands.

Maybe so, but you will be sailing with NCL, not "all brands".😀
