Boarding with excess Alcohol

Sometimes they don’t give your bottle(s) a second look.  Last time checking in at Port Everglades I had an odd conversation with security over a bottle of Rivulet pecan liqueur that I was planning to take home to Ohio.

“Are you coming back?”

”What?”

”Are you coming back?”

”Well the ship is coming back to Fort Lauderdale.”

Never figured that out.  The bottle was tagged and delivered to my cabin later.  Fine by me.
