Not too much of an issue perhaps in Alaska. I had forgotten that even though I had walked past the children's centre many times. I can easily walk up a few decks - and down a lot more. Sometimes I would take the C lift to Deck 9, walk through to B and walk up to 11. My beloved would have a difficult time doing that so she had to wait. Being on Deck 4 had its advantages, but for our 2026 QV cruise we have booked Deck 7. We had a QE cruise in Britannia on Deck 4 and I wouldn't hesitate to do that again. But when in the Grills I would want to higher.
