Kobe port terminal for Osaka?

We have an overnight stay in Osaka, but when looking to see where Millenium docks, Cruisemappers shows we will be at Port Kobe.  I had previously asked how to get to Nara from Osaka, so now looking for advice how to get there from this port.  Also, we planned on going to Dotonbori in the evening, will this be more difficult from this location?

To Nara:

From Kobe Port Cruise Terminal either 1) taxi to Kobe-Sannomiya Station or 2) metro from Port Terminal Station to Port Liner Sannomiya Station and walk 5 min to Kobe-Sannomiya Station. Take Hanshin Line from Kobe-Sannomiya Station to Kintetsu-Nara Station in 85 min.

 

To Dotonbori:
Take Hanshin Line from Kobe-Sannomiya Station to Kintetsu-Nara station, but get off at Osaka-Namba Station, 50 min. Take either Exit 14 (Mido-suji) or Exit B14 (Ebisu Bashi-Suji) and walk 5 min to Dotonbori.

Wow, this is disappointing.  I thought we would be at the Tempozan (?)pier, much closer to Osaka.

Does the time decrease if we use Limited express?  Is this an option?

Tempozan Cruise Terminal in Osaka; Kobe Port terminal in Kobe.
