Purchasing internet once on board

I have an upcoming cruise that I have $500 onboard credit. I am planning to use it to pay for gratuities and an internet plan. I have only ever pre-purchased the internet so wondered what the process for doing it once on board. Can it all be done via the Carnival Hub app or will I need to go to Guest Services desk ?

FYI, you can pre-purchase and use the on board credit towards it.

I believe it will be less expensive if you purchase before sailing, as there is a small discount. 
 

when you go to purchase it, it will ask you whether you wish to use your OBC, or pay with a credit card.
