Deck 9 on Explorer 1

We have booked a cabin on the aft of the ship for Jan 6 sailing Ft lauderdale to Ft. lauderdale.  Our cabin is at the back of the ship overlooking its wake, and it is directly below the pool ( i think).  If anyone has been in this area on deck 9 was it noisy at night?  I'm thinking of trying to get on a lower floor same cabin if its available.

We were in the Cocoon Residence for a Caribbean cruise in March. Not the 9th floor but same aspect. We loved the suite and the view. But there was a problem with the aft location... noise and vibration when in a tender port. The ship does not use an anchor in tender ports. Instead it uses its thrusters along with a GPS to maintain position. So, from early morning until the ship departs the port there is a constant sound of the thrusters and vibration. The problem may not be as bad up on deck 9. But it ruined our cruise (which had many tender ports) down on deck 6.
