Passover

Recommended Posts

I know on World Cruises they have a Passover seder on both nights, led by the ship’s rabbi. Friends raved about the roast chicken they were served.

I don’t know if it’s offered on a short cruise.

I know that passengers organize and conduct a usual shabbat service in the ersatz chapel soon after the Friday afternoon Mass, which customarily is at 5 o'clock (on port days). I don't know if they wait until sundown.

As the previous poster noted, on some of the "major" cruises HAL arranges for a rabbi who will lead high holiday services. On of the Catholic chaplains told me that he is willing to help out with shabbat but has never been asked.
