FOPMan Posted September 7 #1 Share Posted September 7 I am looking for a comparison between Marimoto at Sea and Tamarind. We adore Tamarind. Are different products (fish and tenderloin, especially) used? I noticed that both menus have tenderloin. Is the quality different, or are the differences on the preparation and finishing? I know the desserts are different. Is Marimoto worth the price difference?
hankandteri Posted September 7 #2 Share Posted September 7 We have reservations for both on our cruise next month. Looking forward to seeing how they differ.
Sir PMP Posted September 7 #3 Share Posted September 7 I'll stick with the Tamarind.
Rare Andi Land Posted September 7 #4 Share Posted September 7 We just had Tamarind and Morimoto last week. Both were fantastic. We didn’t eat the beef so can’t comment on that. On ships that have both, I would eat at both. I give a slight advantage to Morimoto but I think that’s because everything on the menu was new and we’ve had Tamarind many, many times.
