I completely agree that the cruise line has the right to change the itinerary for safety reasons etc, but I do not agree on them missing out and/or changing ports is a reason to change our paid for itinerary, but you live and learn, and I have learnt not to trust NCL to provide me with the cruise I have paid for, hopefully when hundreds/thousands of other passengers start feeling the same, NCL will change their stance but somehow I doubt it. I’m done with them after this cruise.

On the other hand...

We are looking at a Jewel repositioning cruise next year, which we were maybe 50/50 on booking, and they switched out a Caribbean port for an overnight in Bermuda, which we have never been to.

 

That places us more towards 80/20 on booking, just waiting for the cost to come down.

Just wait until they change Bermuda to a Sea Day 3 days after final payment is due!

Since it is an overnight stay in Bermuda, it would be TWO sea days, or a port like Charleston SC substituted.

And we have never been to Charleston, so....
