Motion sickness clean-up question

I just have to ask this.

I don't have any kind of motion sickness problems but I get quezy(sp) when I see other people get sick.

I know that some people are really affected by the motion and I was wondering how the crew handles passengers who are sick.

I am concerned about if people get sick on the deck, or in a bag and leave it out for all to see.

I am genereally easy going but this is something I will have to avoid seeing or I can't get the images and sounds out of my head and then I can't eat?

We are going on our 1st cruise on the Miracle on Nov 26 and I was hoping for some insight from the experienced.

Thank-you.

On one of our cruises, I couldn't sleep. Got out of bed around 4:30am and went up on the Lido deck. Walked over to the railing to grab a chair and intended to watch the sun rise... however, two "piles" of puke  were on the deck and I changed my mind.

I figured some "party-into-the-wee-hours" types took in more alcohol than their bodies would allow and they lost their cookies. Not sure when they got mopped up, but when I returned at around 9:00am, they were gone - no trace of 'em.

And yes, I can picture it to this day...

I went on my first cruise Nov 2004. It was a cruise with 18 women on the Destiny and it was the most amazing experience I have ever had. Carnival was great. The water was very choppy we had just missed some storms, so the boat was a little rocky. We had spoke the the carnival workers who had been on this ship for up to 8 months and had never seen it so bad. We did see on a few occassions a mess that had not been cleaned up. I don't think this is the norm. I went again in Feb 2005 on a 4 day cruise with the hubby and kids didn't see anything then.

Can't wait for November there may be up to 30 of us this time. Carnival won't know what hit them.....lol

Back in 1991 on the old Carnival Mardi Gras we had pretty rough seas the first night. The kids and I went about exploring the ship and I wondered what all those "tacky" looking white bags were doing stuck in the stair railings. Later we took an elevator down to explore something on a lower deck and I noticed that someone had made a deposit  in the ashtray mounted in the elevator. It was then that I figured out what the white bags were for! I later went to the casino and people were dropping like flies, but the crew must have done a good job cleaning up because after the one sighting in the elevator I never noticed any more lost cookies on that cruise or any that we have been on since then.
