Rare philv Posted September 22 #1 Share Posted September 22 Do they still have free steam room and sauna in Lotus Spa on the Emerald Princess. I haven’t been on this ship in years and saw somewhere else steam rooms and saunas were removed. Is this true?
VibeGuy Posted September 22 #2 Share Posted September 22 The complimentary steam and sauna in the locker rooms were removed. There’s still the coed thermal suite with paid access.

I often used after workout in fitness center. Edited September 22 by philv

It seems Princess will be removing the steam and saunas on the Grand class ships, first was the Emerald a couple years ago at dry dock, last year they did it to the Ruby at dry dock. Sapphire is scheduled for dry dock next September, so we will see if the trend continues. Explanation has been for ADA compliance and installing accessible treatment rooms for the Spa. That’s a shame. Next to the Promenade that’s one of the best features of the Grand class ships. Still had them on the Caribbean Princess when I sailed in March. netorders Posted Thursday at 07:19 PM #6 Share Posted Thursday at 07:19 PM Yes I am disappointed as well. Received an offer to take 10%, or $196 for a 10 day cruise. Anyone know what the daily rate would be or do they offer a mini version once on board?

I read a post that the Caribbean is next once in dry dock. Time will tell.........
