Georginah Posted Sunday at 07:05 AM #26 Share Posted Sunday at 07:05 AM Sorry for the late reply, I think I am on the same 4 day cruise as you. I am in a Q3 suite and my boarding time is 12:30, so I assume that’s pretty much the earliest for this cruise x

rsquare Posted Sunday at 01:20 PM #28 Share Posted Sunday at 01:20 PM I'm Diamond but am travelling with a Silver. We both got 3:45 check-ins, presumably based on my friend's lower CWC status. I'm wondering if there is any way that my CWC status can promote the both of us to a boarding time somewhat earlier than 15 minutes before the close of boarding. Not all ports honor the priority and in some cases it seems to be the whim of the person you ask. In Southampton, friends in a lower WC level were able to go through priority with us. In NYC, they weren't.

As detailed upthread, being Diamond (or Platinum) does not adjust your boarding time or formally fast tracks you, it's entirely dependent on your stateroom and its location relative to the other boarding slots, with some variation on different ports (since the boarding deck varies from port to port) and different ships (QA's lift structure springs to mind). That said, in most ports if you turn up earlier then as a Diamond you'll be able to board sooner, informally. They also tend to be conservative on "last boarding", you can usually add 30 or even 90 minutes to that. Having said that, you will have a very fast and easy boarding if you do decide to go on at 3:45 pm.
