It starts in december in the bahamas.
There are discounts from January on the Valor (only) for repeat carnival cruisers, ask about it.

it begins cruising on 12/15/04 with paying pax. but I'd bet it will have at least one travel industry-only invitational cruise for the orientation of the TA's and all.
In any case, this is the third ship in the Conquest Class.

I booked for the Valor on Jan.23/05 about 5 weeks ago(good rate I thought for the 4 of us IS Guarantee Quad=$1832). A few days ago I just happened to be on Carnival's site and under prev.guest specials they had something on the Valor. I emailed my online TA and she emailed me back, said I was not qualified for that $100 shipboard acc't credit. I think because I had already booked. (She said she will keep an eye out for any discounts for me, but I will be keeping an eye out also!!) Good luck to everyone getting a good rate! Maybe see you on Jan.23/05!

we're booked on the Valor Feb 20th..as well as oct 30th..our first pvp promised us the discount.. but since he longer "works" in that dept. the new pvp is "checking" with a supervisor... has been for about 3 weeks now.. i'm getting kinda tired of waiting...this is for the feb cruise i'm talking about we have booked 4 cabins for that cruise...8 people in our family and a family friend.. I'm thinkin if we don't hear back from her this week i'll call and ask to speak to the supervisor. Luckily DH saved all the emails from the other pvp so I'm hopin we'll be ok..
