Has anyone actually been to a beach on ST. Vincent?

Yes - I have been to Mount Wynne Bay, Layou, Richmond, Owia Salt Pond, Brighton Beach and Salt Pond, Villa Beach and Indian Bay, Black Point Tunnel Beach, Walliabou Bay etc. What else do you want to know ?

Of them all, I preferred Brighton Beach. Also the nearby salt pond.

I spent 6 years living in St Vincent. Layou and the Leeward coast were always my favorite.

 

Not really a fan of Indian bay, but honestly you can't go wrong at any beach. Just remember that the beaches are volcanic sand, meaning that most are black sand beaches.

 

You can also get a day pass for young Island if you are looking for more high end resort atmosphere.
