What is too big to "carry on"? The last cruise I was on I carried on a backpack but that was for a 3 day cruise on the Fantasy. I was wondering if the size requirments were like what you can have on a plane or if it truely does not matter.

Thanks

Carry-ons must be able to fit through the 11" x 17" opening in the scanner.

I take the largest carryon that is allowed by the airlines and I've never had a problem getting it through the security scanners at the Ports of New Orleans, Miami, Tampa, and Pt. Canaveral. :)

Glad they don't need to scan me!
So my first dinner outfit must pass through the 11x17?

My carry-on is an upright on wheels that measures 22" tall x 9" deep x 14" wide. I have not had any problems taking this case through the scanners at Port Canaveral (RCI/Carnival Glory terminal), Port of Miami or at the airports.
