Ocean Liners Best way to make a Reservation?

We are leaving on the Connie Friday 4/7. What is the best way to make a reservations for Ocean Liners? I do not want to go there on formal nights, but do not know which nights are formal yet. How can I find out that info.

Call Captain's Club and ask. Formal nights are normally while ship is at sea.

 

If you are a Captain club member you can book before boarding by calling Captain's Club.

If you are not a Captains Club member, as soon as you board I would go see the Maitre d' for the restaurant. They usually have a table set up on the ship to make reservations as soon as you board. I don't think they do it at the restaurant, but have a special table set up elsewhere on the ship for this purpose. (there actually was a guy "floating" in the lounge near the regular dining room maitre 'd who was taking reservations) When you go to make the reservations, they will know which nights are formal and you can reserve around it then.
