What were your favorite excursions or just relaxing ones at St. Maarten and St. John---ALSO---Can you pay for them before you board? ALSO----It looks like the ship arrives one day at 8 PM and then the next day it shows it leaving at 1 AM---Does that mean that it is only there for 5 hours??????? Or is it that you get there at 8 PM and then have the whole next day there?

Laura...we caught a taxi over to Marigot and spent the morning there; the French feel of Marigot was nice and the Queen Bee loves to shop over there (although prices are pretty high). Later we took a taxi back to Phillipsburg and had lunch and spent the afternoon on the beach right in Pburg. We then took the water taxi back to the ship. It was a very relaxing day.

PS You might want to check out the Ports of Call board for St martin. This thread will probably get moved over there anyway.

with that much time...I would definitely take the fast ferry to St. Barth's. Not a big fan of St. Maarten.

In St. John (Antigua) we usually go to Dickenson Bay. Nice little beach. We've also done the helecopter tour to Monteserrat. Totally worth it.
