Any problems making reservations with Royal Caribbean

I spoke with 2 different people sent me e-mails of the cruises we discussed and said I could call back, the reservation would be held until midnight. No deposit was given yet. I called back & used the extension to reach her & I was told they don't use extension # anymore. So I called back and a different person took the extension # but said he would help me - then proceeded to inform that the reservation was not on hold and I could no longer get that type of room I had to go to a smaller room. I spoke to the original agent a few hours ago. So It should still be held. Anyone have this happen to them. I am not sure I want to deal with a company that works this way!! I would have probably handle the transaction differently if I knew they couldn't hold it.

Have you tried to call back again and ask for that extension? I would because I have been given extensions when I call and get through. Do you have a name from the emails? Ask for it.

I have also had them hold a cabin for me.

I always book direct with them and have no trouble. I would get on the phone right away.
