gonna go cruising Posted April 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Has anyone ever had to substitute a passenger in their cabin? My husband may not be able to go (yes, we bought trip insurance...the kind you can cancel for any reason and get 75% back) but my older daughter may be able to go in his place if this happens? Is this unheard of, and if not, what is the time frame that the switch can be done in? Thanks for any information you all may have.
Druke I Posted April 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2006 It can be done, for I believe a fee of $50.00; but I don't know what time constraints Princess might put upon name changes. Suggest you call them (or your Travel Agent).
LARGIN Posted April 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Yes.. At one time, one name on a booking could be changed without a fee if it's was before final payment. If final payment was made, the charge was $50. The other name must remain on the booking unchanged. However best source for advice on this subject will be your TA. Whoops.. Druke beat me to the punch
gonna go cruising Posted April 6, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Thanks guys! At least there is hope for us. We have friends who chose the cabin next to ours and I would hate to be moved because our number may change. Now at least we can probably do a substitute and stay where we are. Many thanks!
