San Francisco - Cable Car to/from the Pier

From searching the SF transit sites, it looks like Cable Car F will take you to and from pier 35 to the Embarcadero BART station. Anyone know?

I walked from the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf after dropping wife and luggage to return Dollar rent a car. Cable car did go by me as well. didnt notice which one tho. another was going towards the Wharf when we left , so i imagine u can.. Hope you have fun..

No way to take baggage this way though. If you are planning to take BART from the Oakland or SFO airport, I would not recommend this method.

It was just for the 2-day repo cruise to Vancouver, didn't suppose we'd need much luggage. Thanks for the responses.

The "F" Line is not a Cable Car. Its a streetcar. You could take a carryon with you on it, but its quite often too crowded for anything more. Luggage, etc. is "at the operator's discretion."

We took a street car ( I think that's the correct term) from the pier to the BART and then took that to the airport. Handling the luggage really wasn't as difficult as thought it might be.
